Breeding

Gribaldi her sire was the 1996 Champion at the his stallion inspection in Neumünster. Under Dutch team rider Edward Gal, Gribaldi has become an internationally Grand Prix dressage stallion. Gribaldi is pictured below;

Gribaldi

Gribaldi already has 10 licensed sons, including Anky van Grunsven's Painted Black. Based on the performance of Gribaldi's 7- and 8-year old offspring, the KWPN have recently proclaimed Gribaldi a Keur stallion.

Gribaldi

In 2000 Gribaldi's first foals were evaluated at Neumünster. He was the sire of the Reserve Champion Stallion, and also of the approved stallion Distlezar, who sold after approval for $300,000 as a three year old. In the same year Gribaldi was the sire of Denmark's Champion stallion Zardin, and of the Danish approved stallion Rivaldi. Gribaldi has numerous approved sons and daughters, passing on his extraordinary qualities to his babies. Gribaldi has become the number one sire in Europe and he is very prepotent, producing very high caliber, uniform offspring and is in great demand. Gribaldi was the 1996 Champion of his stallion testing in Neumünster, Germany, a very coveted position. In the year 2000 Gribaldi's first foal crop came up for evaluation at Neumünster. He was the sire of the Reserve Champion Stallion, Hofrat. He was also the sire of the approved stallion Distlezar, who sold after approval for $300,000 as a three year old! In that same year Gribaldi was also the sire of Denmark's Champion stallion Zardin, and of the Danish approved stallion Rivaldi. All from his first foal crop. Amazing! In 2001, Gribaldi again sired the Reserve Champion Stallion, Hoftanzer and repeated his success in Denmark as well. Gribaldi may just be the sire of the century. He has proven to pass on his qualities.

Muzelma

And in the next picture with this fillys half brother out of Muzelma by Flemmingh retained in holland

Muzelma

Muzelma is directly from the Zelma line, a famous breeding line in Holland. Great-grandam Luzelma (Enfant de Normandie) is a full sister of the KWPN stallion Juweel. Luzelma also stands at the basis of the light tour dressage horses Elect (Zaïre) and Luzelma Slottie (Cabochon) as well as of the national showjumping horse Elma (Vanitas). Below you see Kuzelma a half sister (same dam as Muzelma) by Cabochon with her 2008 foal that subsequently sold at the National elite foal auction

Kuzelma

Her sire Elcaro is world famous and an exceptional breeding line both for outstanding temperments and movement. Elcaro has almost 250 offspring in dressage, a dressage index that has long been over 150 points and a pedigree linking him to other dressage lines, he has been an exceptionally effective sire for years. In December 2002 Elcaro was approved for life by the Stallion Approval Committee. In the conformation index, the stride length and the length, power and suppleness of the trot were all above two standard deviations. There are keur (“quality”) stallions that cannot match this. He is a truely awsome stallion

And to strengthen further the GGS is the Keur awarded KWPN stallion Sultan. Sultan comes from the famous ‘Reina’ line, also called Burga-stam which is the renowned mare line from breeder Wim van Arkel [Dutch mareline 8 of breeding family 6o]. Famous horses from this mother line are: Darkdream, Sultan, Kallisto, Mendel, Charmeur and Waldo. Relanse-S Sultan gives both dressage and show jumping qualities to his children. He has several approved sons such as: the KWPN stallion Bustron [Sultan - Eros], NAWPN stallion Charmeur [Sultan - Ronco xx] and the NRPS stallion Sultano [Sultan - Roemer]. Sultan’s famous show jumping son, It’s Otto [Sultan - Farn], competed at the highest levels of the sport and his daughter Jaguar [Sultan - Doruto] was an international dressage horse.
