Montevita.

Montevita is a stunning 3yo old bay mare by the fabulous stallion Monte Carlo out of a mare line combining some of the best sires in british breeding Renkum Englishman and Demonstrator.This filly is approx. 17.hh and a true middleweight show horse, a mare very hard to find. She has full pink BWBS papers.

In the showing world so far Montevita has been a sensation winning the Royal Show in 2008 as a 2yo taking Champion Hunter Filly and Reserve Best Young Hunter champion. Then as a three year old she was Winner and overall Champion of the show at Gwinear Show 2009, Winner and Reserve Champion Devon County 2009, 1st Hunter filly and 1st and Champion Sports Horse Royal Bath & West 2009, as well as highest placed filly 3yo at Royal Cornwall!!! What a record. Currently she is unbeaten in 3yo hunter filly classes

She is in foal to Richelshagen the 100 day performance tested stallion by Rubinstein, the foal is due 03/09. She took on her first covering so is an excellent breeder. She will be hard to beat in the broodmare classes at county shows next year. She has an incredible temperment, very laid back and easy to handle, a real poppet!! Her temperment is suitable for the amateur producer as well as the prefessional. Montevita's movement is outstanding and combined with her breeding she should be a top class performance horse. A horse with an exciting future in the showing and performance world, a rare combination to find a mare suitable to top level showing and competion in one package!! Breeding

Her sire Monte Carlo is a stunning stallion with outstanding conformation , movement and a phenomenal jump . His bloodlines are top class modern showjumping lines , a pedigree brimming with some of the best jumping progenitors in the world today . At the British Warmblood Society Grading Monte Carlo really impressed the judges with his tremendous jump and bold attitude . He was described by the judges as having " Good elasticity in all three gaits , jumps with capacity , bascule and technique ."

Monte Carlo is super stallion that really stamps his stock. He has a lovely pedigree by the stallion Holland who is by the great Concorde - a world famous producer of primarily top showjumpers but also show and dressage horses. Monte Carlo produces superb athletic movers with outstanding conformation and very good straight limbs from birth.They are intelligent foals with bold friendly characters .Although his pedigree looks primarily jumping blood his stock are super movers and prove to be very versatile so are able to excel in any sphere . Monte Carlo's stock really have inherited his phenomenal jump and his superb balance and movement . They are now competing under saddle and look equally at home jumping , eventing or in the dressage arena . His stock have been Champions at most major shows throughout the UK and Ireland and his daughters have won medals and gained Select Status with the BWBS .

Montevitas dam is by Renkum Englishman. Englishman attained the highest grade with the Anglo European Studbook , he was one of the few Elite stallions in the country . Englishman was Grade A by the time he was eight years old .Englishman was Champion Stallion at grading beating over 90 stallions . By 1998 Englishman ranked 7th overall in Irelands top ten stallions , he ranked 2nd in the top ten sires of foals and was in 3rd place in the top ten Irish Sport Horse Stallions . Englishman was the winner of the 1999 British Horse Foundation High Riser Award . His progeny have ben sold to the USA , Sweden and Holland for sums in excess of £30.000 . He is a Prolific sire of Champion stock in hand and under saddle including showjumpers , eventers , dressage horses , show horses and graded stallions .

On the granddam line we see another well known UK producer and that is demonstrator. Demonstrator is one of Great Britain’s leading sires of proven competition horses in all disciplines. He has won nationally and internationally at Grand Prix Level and was short-listed for the Olympic Dressage Team. Demonstrator is ranked No.1 Dressage Sire on the British Horse Foundation ranking for 2000, 2001 and 2002. He was the 1999 Horse & Hound leading Sire of Dressage Horses. He is one of the most influential sires of performance horses standing in Britain today. He is a fully licenced 100 day performance tested stallion.
