Exceptional filly with exceptional breeding, By the great Sandro Hit out of a mare by the highly sought after Donnerhall probably the most sought after breeding cross today. born 10/04/2007, to mature approximately 16.1hh at maturity.
An absolutely stunning filly with a heavenly temperment, not a difficult or nasty bone in her body, certainly obtained the famous trainable temperment of Donnerhall.
She has correct conformation and her paces live up to her breeding. Her movement is quite simply outstanding, rhythmical powerful elevated paces, super hind leg and wonderful self carriage like her father.
With this dream breeding she will be an extremely valuable broodmare after her competion career has ceased. A truely rare opportunity to obtain a filly of this standard
Her sire, Sandro Hit a world famous and highly sought after stallion has started a new dynasty in the world dressage scene and is rewriting sporting and breeding history. He is pictured below;
National Young Horse Champion, and Young Dressage World Champion, Sandro Hit, progeny are breaking all price-records, are regularly winning championships and Approval Championships. His offspring completely dominated the 2006 Oldenburg approvals.
His success in breeding is no coincidence. His sire Sandro Song was Oldenburger Champion Young Stallion and Main Premium Champion. His dam, elite mare Loretta is as a dominant producer virtually unbeatable. She produced the Reserve World Champion and Reserve German Young Horse Champion Diamond Hit and the highly elegant 1c premium stallion Royal Hit. Her sire Ramino was Stallion Performance Test Champion and later on five times Italian Champion. Welt As from the third generation is one of the most influential producers over the last years, amongst others he sired Olympic gold medallist Bonfire ridden by Anky van Grunsven.
Sandro Hit, a strikingly beautiful black horse, brilliant type with quality movement. The supporters of Hanoverian stud found him particularly interesting and once again he brought the highest price at every single foal auction in Verden. Modernity at it’s optimum.
Sandaras dam is by the all time great sire Donnerhall. Many believe that the legendary stallion Donnerhall has single handedly reshaped the dressage breeding world. Today many of the top stallions feature his breeding lines. His success and influence lives on after his death. Unfortunately his semen did not freeze well and thus what remains with us today is perhaps all that is left of the great horse, and thus his blood is highly sought after all over the world.He is pictured below:
Donnerhall is the most successful dressage horse in the world and looks back on an exemplary career. He managed like no other sire of his generation to combine success in breeding and in sport alike. In 1986 Donnerhall was the German DLG Champion in Hanover. After many wins in Grand Prix, Grand Prix Special and freestyle classes at International level he became German champion in Mannheim with his constant rider Karin Rehbein in 1994, team world champion and individual bronze medal winner in The Hague. This was followed by another climax in 1997: Team gold and individual bronze at the European Dressage Championships in Verden. In 1998 he was once more included in the German world championship team and with Karin Rehbein was a member of the gold medal team in Rome, where he attained fourth place in the individual results. Donnerhall won the World Cup European League, as well as being the Oldenburg dressage stallion of the year in 1997 and 1998 respectively. At the end of 1998 he farewelled himself from competition sport. “fresh as a daisy” at seventeen years of age and was frenetically applauded at all stages of his farewell tour.
It is nearly impossible to provide a complete survey of Donnerhall’s breeding record here, as it would necessitate the writing of a separate book. In Germany alone he has produced over 50 approved stallion sons and more than 35 State Premium Mares. His son Davignon I was the Federal Riding Horse Champion of 1992. His daughter Primavera was the champion mare of the Oldenburg elite mare show in 1992 and in the same year she was champion riding horse and also third in the federal championships. His daughter Hallo won the elite mare show in Rastede in 1994. Deutsche Einheit was second in the Federal Championships in Verden in 1992 and in the same year she was top-priced lot of all the German Breed Societies auctions reaching DM420,000 (£147,000). Her full brother Duntroon was vice-champion stallion of the Oldenburg approvals in 1993 and in 1994 he won the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. Another top-priced lot of the Vechta sales was the approved stallion Donnerschwee. The approved stallion Don Primero and the mare High Noon 15 made their careers as outstanding dressage horses. High Noon 15 is a full sister to the elite mare Hallo. In 1996 Donnerhall presented Germany’s highest priced auction horse Donatello. For years now Donnerhall has been at the very top of the FN (German) breeding value rating for dressage. Donnerhall's last public appearance under his rider Karin Rehbein at the gala evening of the 1998 Oldenburg approval, where children with lanterns formed a narrow passage through which Donnerhall strode magnificently, remains a warm and unforgettable memory.
From that time onwards, he only fulfilled his duties as a sire at the Grönwohldhof, where his remarkable career had begun. On the 14Th of January 2002, Donnerhall perished from acute intestinal toxicopathy. Donnerhall, who was already a legend during his own lifetime has passed away but his memory lingers on.Sandaras breeding is further strengthened in the dam line through Rainette who is by the westfalian stallion Romanow. Romanow is by Romadour II, characeterised as one of the most significant of modern Westfalien sires. Most notably he was famed through Rosenkavalier which is the sire of the another great, off course Rubinstein! Romadour II is pictured below;
This filly is exceptional in more ways than one, a rare opportunity to obtain a filly of this calibre.
