A filly bred in Holland she has the most powerful uphill paces that just take your breath away. Extremly eye catching with fabulous correct conformation she could easily county show. She has a calm temperment and learns very quickly allways wanting to please.

She is an exciting competition and breeding prospect.She was bred in Holland with the aim of producing a big moving horse for top level dressage and they have certainly succeeded!!

Breeding

Her sire, Sorento is a son of the World famous highly sought after Sandro Hit, one of if not the most popular dressage stallion in Germany. Sorento is following in his fathers footsteps and is fast becoming one the best and most sought after licenced sons of the great Sandro Hit. Sorento is pictured below.

Because of his expression and excellent movements Sandro Hit became world champion of the young dressage horses when he was a 6-yr-old. The products of Sandro Hit are famous for their beautiful, high-legged and blood-horse conformation and their expressive movements. Sandro Hit is pictured below;

In the ancestry of Sorento’s dam ‘Dein Liebling’ we find the proven combination Donnerhall x Pik Bube. Sorento comes from a well established Hanoverian sport horse family. His full sister, the powerfully moving ‘Samt und Seide’, was placed in the ‘Brillantring’ in Raststede in 2004, and one year later she became the champion of her performance test. Sorento seems to live truly up to his fantastic pedigree. As a 3-yr-old he drew great attention at the post selection in Oldenburg, after which he was immediately licensed. During his performance test in Münster-Handorf he was noteworthy for his presence, beautiful front, long further leg and superb use of high legs. As a 4-yr-old Sorento won as many as three Riding Horse Championships in succession.

Sorento in 2007 with Bohigas were the big winners of the first Westfalian Bundeschampionate Qualifier. In the 5-year old Dressage Horse division, Heike Klausing and the Oldenburg licensed stallion Sorento were undefeatable. They scored a magical 9.0 in both the warm up test and the actual qualifier.

The first foals of Sorento seem to posses the same qualities as their sire and are therefore in high demand.

Chelesto's dam is a Dutch Warmblood by stallion Rex, who is by Jonkheer a very successful stallion in Holland. The dams dam is by Kroonprins which is a top class Gelders sire. Gelders were the origional traditional Dutch warmbloods and are still used to input the extravagant upill paces into the modern dressage horse. Also in showjumping gelders were used to improve, for example the legend Wolfgang has gelders in his dam linage. Kroonprins is pictured below.
